The Knicks made a roster move ahead of the 2024 G League Winter Showcase Cup Finals, assigning guard Tyler Kolek to Westchester in preparation for their 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Sioux Falls Skyforce, affiliated with the Miami Heat. This comes after the recent assignments of forward Pacôme Dadiet and center Ariel Hukporti to Westchester last Friday.

Kolek, whom the Knicks selected from Marquette with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft's second round, has logged 17 games with New York through the 2024-25 season's first couple of months.

In 112 minutes, he has 46 points on 16-of-38 shooting, including a 10-for-23 clip from long range, while adding 12 rebounds and 11 assists. His per-game averages are 2.7 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 6.6 minutes.

New York is 18-10 and has won three games in a row entering Monday's 7:30 p.m. game against the Toronto Raptors. Westchester, meanwhile, leads the G League's East Division with a 12-4 record and eight-game win streak.
