New Delhi: Former Indian cricket sensation, Vinod Kambli, is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital located in the Thane district. Medical examinations conducted on Monday revealed the presence of brain clots, according to Dr. Vivek Trivedi, who is overseeing Kambli's care. The 52-year-old ex-batsman from Mumbai was initially brought in with symptoms of a suspected urinary infection and muscle spasms, leading to his emergency admission to a hospital in the Kalher area of Bhiwandi town over the weekend.

After conducting numerous assessments, the healthcare professionals at Akruti Hospital found blood clots in Kambli’s brain, according to Trivedi’s report. His health status is now under persistent watch, with plans for more detailed medical evaluations set for Tuesday, as per the physician’s directives.

Trivedi pointed out that S Singh, who runs the hospital, has kindly decided to provide Kambli with free medical care for life at his establishment.
